On August 16, 2022, Texas Water Utilities and Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas celebrated David, a 15-year-old Leukemia survivor from Pflugerville. David had just returned from a trip to Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida that Texas Water Utilities had sponsored. He told our Pflugerville staff about the amazing time he had visiting the amusement parks, and even received a second surprise from our staff.
David loves sports and enjoys participating in his local soccer league, so Tim Williford, vice president of operations, presented David with a basket of FC Barcelona gear (David’s favorite team) and surprised him with tickets to attend the Austin FC game on August 26. David enjoyed watching Austin FC beat LAFC in the final home game of the season.
