Update on water service for Spring and Callawassie Islands:
The repair to the main water line and flushing were completed late last night. We sent a sample of water to the lab this morning, as required by the S.C. Department of Environmental Services, and will send another one tomorrow morning, so that the boil water advisory can hopefully be lifted on Saturday morning. While we believe the water is safe for consumption, we are required to have this advisory in place until receiving the test results back.
