Why We Need to Use Water Wisely
Water is a finite resource. Between 70 and 75 percent of the Earth’s surface is covered with water, but only 1 percent of that is available for human use. While both the world population and the demand on freshwater resources are increasing, supply remains constant— we have the same amount of water now as we had two billion years ago. Water efficiency helps preserve our water supply for future generations.

Let’s make it our choice to pay attention to our daily habits—how we use water and how we might be wasting it. Do your part to conserve our precious supplies by small, thoughtful changes in your daily activities and habits. Small changes, if done on a large scale, add up to a big change. Every drop counts and every person can make a difference.
